Loyola Senior Attackman Pat Spencer
A clear reason why he is on this list, he has been a finalist for the award for the past 2 years. A lot of people expect Pat Spencer to win with after a healthy season. Spencer has already set a few records at Loyola, and within the Patriot League, for points and assists. Along with those accomplishments, he is in the top 30 for points all time and could crack the top five if he stays on pace. He comes from high powered high school, Boys’ Latin, and has always been producing.
Loyola starts off the new year with 3 big time teams, Virginia, Johns Hopkins, and then Rutgers. It will be a tough start for the Greyhounds, but we will get to see how Pat starts off his senior season against real tests. Spencer already has three Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year trophies and he will try to add the Tewaaraton and a fourth to that collection by the end of the year.
Cornell Junior Attackman Jeff Teat
If last year’s senior class wasn’t so stacked, I think Teat would have also been a finalist for the Tewaaraton after his tremendous season. Jeff Teat notched 99 points in 2018 with 37 goals and 62 assists. He put up 72 points in his freshman year and has shown NCAA lacrosse that he is always a threat to score. Most teams have figured this out by now and gameplan their entire defense around Teat. He gets double teamed relentlessly, and even triple teamed at times, but still puts points on the board. He is a game changer.
Teat reached 100 career points faster than any other player in NCAA history. It only took Teat 18 games, meaning he was averaging close to six a game. He is a phenomenal product of The Hill Academy, and I can’t wait to watch him ball out this year. The Big Red’s biggest games this year are versus Penn State, Yale, Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Princeton, so be sure to look out for Teat.
Yale Junior X Specialist TD Ierlan
Another complete game changer in this man, TD Ierlan. For opposing teams, if he is on the field, you do not have the ball, and that is a big issue in the game of lacrosse. TD practically wins every single

It is just crazy how much this guy has won since he has stepped onto a collegiate field. He can even score when given the opportunity, and now he will be doing this all in a Yale jersey. He won several accolades while playing at Albany, and I expect him to win many more with Yale. Ierlan is a very special player, and
Virginia Junior Attackman Michael Kraus
Ever since he got to Virginia, Michael Kraus has been putting up big numbers and making a name for himself. He won ACC Freshman of the year and has had 2 great years so far. Last season Kraus put up 83 points, which is #2 all-time in a season for Virginia. That stat alone can tell you about him at such a great lacrosse school. He scored a point in every game he appeared in last season and will likely be racking up many more this year.
Kraus is a strong aggressive player who is not scared oqf contact, so expect him to go to the cage often. Like most classic Virginia stars, Kraus is a very well rounded player and also has a great surrounding cast around him this year. The Cavaliers have a tough schedule this season, and we will get to see him show up or screw up in several pivotal games.
Denver Junior Attackman Ethan Walker
The leftie gunslinger from the prominent Culver Military Academy, Ethan Walker will be leading the Denver offensive charge. Walker can rip a shot from all over the field and find the net with ease. His effect on the team has been immediate. Walker has started on attack every single game since he joined the team and also put up big numbers. He actually had more points from his freshman year with 72, than he got last year at 70. He draws a lot of attention since Walker has a cannon and great vision. I expect him to have well over 50 goals this year, and he should help Denver have a great season. We will see how the Pioneers will fair without Denver legend Trevor Baptiste, but at least their offense is being lead by a stud. They might change up their playing style a little bit due to losing Baptiste and maybe we will see some more of the high flying offense Walker is known for.
Princeton Junior Attackman Michael Sowers
Michael Sowers’s first season he set several different
