The Signature Lacrosse heads are backed by a lifetime warranty and made specifically for outside threats, sharp shooters, and inside finishers. Click to learn why you should consider the Offense Head for your next gamer!
The team here at Stringers Society has been a massive fan of the Signature Contract Universal Lacrosse Head, so when the Offense Lacrosse Head was released, we had to get our hands on it. With the same great features as the Contract Universal, the Signature Contract Offense was designed for outside sharpshooters and inside dodgers.
Contract Offense Overview
Legal for both NFHS and NCAA-sanctioned teams, The Contract Offense comes in at $89.95, a $20 increase from the Contract Universal. Players looking for a discount on the Signature Contract can find a deal at the end of the article!
While the price point did increase, you will never have to worry about breaking another head; with Signature’s new lifetime warranty! Compared to the Contract Universal Lacrosse Head which comes with a 12-Month Warranty, the Contract Offense is the first lacrosse head with a lifetime warranty.
Like the Contract Universal Lacrosse Head, the Offense comes with 26 sidewall holes which stringers will be sure to love! The same 3 hole throat design from the Universal come equipped on the Offense, making head wobble a thing of the past. And just in case you were wondering, the holes do line up in the same spot as the universal so you don’t have to drill any new holes.
Contract Offense Lacrosse Pocket
We were happy to see Signature modify the face-shape of the Offense Head with a much better pinch allowing for a slightly tighter channel without a ton of additional whip. Players will both be sure to notice the increase in ball security when traveling through heavy traffic and big checks.
For stringers this will translate to a better channel shape when stringing which will allow for more sophisticated pocket patterns. Compared to the Contract Universal which has a natural channel with a wider wedge shape, the Contract Offense has a natural U Shaped channel.
Contract Offense and the Finer Details
If you are as observant as we are when it comes to lacrosse gear and did purchase the Contract Universal, you might have noticed an adhesive residue by the ball stop. We were very pleased to see that Signature improved the application process of their ball stops and this was no longer an issue on the Offensive Head.
A more minor cosmetic change to the head was the addition of ” SIGNATURE ” in the mold near the top of the throat of the lacrosse head.
