Robert Kamins
About Robert Kamins
Rob Kamins has been around lacrosse his whole life, playing on Long Island and then at Lehigh University, and he's never really left the game. These days he's building LaxGripper, patent-pending hand grips providing greater wrist flexibility and proper technique, born in lacrosse with big ambitions beyond it. Before LaxGripper, Kamins spent years in finance related roles, including time at Morgan Stanley, where he created and wrote a commentary series on gold, currencies, and oil markets called "Under the Radar," and later at the U.S. Treasury Department, including work on TARP during the Great Recession. He's since brought "Under the Radar" back, now writing about sports and youth athletics instead of markets. Outside of lacrosse and LaxGripper, he's a forever-struggling golfer, an avid New York Mets, Jets, and Knicks fan, and a family man.
